PROGRAM 1

WAR FRIENDS
Welcome Home Veterans

It is our turn to serve our Veterans
Planning to develop a three-month residential program in a year

PROGRAM GOALS

Non-residential Three-Month Boot Camp Back to Civilian Life

The Day Program is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM, and after our Veterans graduate from the Day Program, they can continue utilizing our counseling services, workshops, roundtable discussions and resources for as long as they need, free of charge. There is no program like this one in the whole United States, and in order for us to be able to provide our Veterans with these unique services, we need powerful and influential people to help and support us.

 

  1. Providing Veterans with a warm and safe environment to tell their stories, find new meanings to their past experiences and create new possibilities for their future
  2. Assisting Veterans to experience a smooth transition to civilian life
  3. Connecting Veterans and forming new connections among them based on their shared experiences & values during their military life

All our gratitude to our Veterans for their bravery and sacrifice!

DAILY SERVICES & ACTIVITIES

 

  1. Counseling sessions during and after the Boot Camp
  2. Connecting Veterans with medical, educational, retirement, employment services and other resources currently available to them
  3. Workshops and roundtable discussions
  4. Warm line from 9AM-6PM (Veterans helping Veterans)
  5. Yoga, nature walks and golf
  6. Creative activities such as photography, painting, hosting art shows, and music
  7. Recruiting and hiring Veterans to help other Veterans to heal & transition back to civilian life

PROGRAM 2

LIVING OUTSIDE THE LABEL OF SCHIZOPHRENIA
Connecting Worlds & Uniting Realities

PROGRAM GOALS

This program is designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for those who are struggling with voices or fears to engage in fun activities such as art, movie nights, or physical exercise. Additionally, we will provide group discussions daily for those who experience psychosis and their families.

Come and join us daily (Monday-Friday) either from 11:00AM-2:00PM (M, F) or 10:00AM-1:00PM (T, W, TH)!

 

  1. Inviting those who experience voices or fears and their families to open dialogues in a warm environment on understanding different realities and connecting in meaningful ways
  2. Open phone lines for the voice-hearing so they can talk about their experiences and struggles
  3. Providing a welcoming environment for those who are struggling with voices or fears to engage in art and other fun activities

Kids and Teens Sports, Activities & Fun

PROGRAM GOALS

This program is designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for kids and teens to come together to learn about valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, and goal-setting, while encouraging a healthy lifestyle through sports and fun activities.

Come and join us daily (Monday-Friday) from 3:00-6:00PM!

 

  1. Creating a fun, inviting community for kids and teens to come together and play
  2. Building leadership and teamwork skills kids and teens can apply to their life
  3. Encouraging an inclusive community, tailoring all sports, games, and activities to fit the needs and abilities of all our members

BREAK FREE, LIVE YOUR POWER
Living Free from Violence & Abuse

Empowering women to live happier, more successful lives

PROGRAM GOALS

This program is designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for women who have been in abusive relationships to come together to participate in workshops and round table discussions so that they can learn about valuable life skills such as recognizing abusive behaviors, communication, and decision-making.

Come and join us daily (Monday-Friday) either from 9:00-11:00AM or 5:00-7:00PM!

 

  1. Offering a safe space for women who suffered from violence and abuse to tell their stories and reconnect to their forgotten values and strengths
  2. Helping women who have experienced abuse recognize abusive attitudes early on in relationships and how to avoid being trapped in the cycle of abuse
  3. Being allies for abused women so they can claim their power and live independent happy lives

PROGRAM GOALS

  1. Providing a safe and welcoming environment so members of the LGBTQ community could connect to one another and create alliances
  2. Promoting acceptance of themselves and others and encouraging social activities
  3. Joining forces to find effective ways to stand up to invisibility, marginalization, hypervisibility, and all forms of injustice
